Belgian Beers
Tuesday, October 17th, 2006Last night we went to the Belgian Beer cafe for drinks that IEP had organise (see previous post) for Work Canada people. So there was probably about 8 people there, most of them heading to Whistler (near Vancouver) for the season so we didn’t actually get to meet anyone from Perth going to Kicking Horse but hopefully there will be some Aussies heading to Kicking Horse! But it was cool talking about canada and skiing/boarding. Travel talk always makes me excited.
Yesterday was the 16th of October which is significant because we fly out of Perth on the 16th of November, so we only have 1 month to go!! It’s getting very exciting. I told my work that i will be leaving them last week so i’m due to finish work on the 10th of November (thank god!).
Count down to departure is on!!
Time is ticking
Saturday, October 7th, 2006Well, there is 1 month 7 days till we leave for Canada. It’s starting to get scary. I guess over the last few hours it has started to hit me how much i am going to miss everyone. It is not going to be easy. I’m starting to panic about wether i will have enough money, courage, brains to go thru with this. In the end i know that i do, just fears that pop up. I’m hell excited about going, and can’t wait to see everyone else over there. It certainly is going to be different to what i know now. I guess that is one of the things I’m looking forward to- meeting new people and experience something different. Anyhow enough of that stuff, time to go back to the count down.
